Over the weekend I discovered that my garden had produced fruit. My strawberry plant after suffering a squirl attack soon after I got it has actually produced a strawberry. I’m not sure how to tell when it is ready to be picked yet, and I have no idea what I will do with it once I do pick it. Any Ideas?

I use google reader a lot, I like that I don’t have to remember to check sites all the time and that it remembers what I’ve read and that I can read things in the order received instead of
by site, (So I can see articles such as googles flu trends get posted around the different sites I follow). This past week I have fallen behind do to exess time spent at work. Today I was able to get home at a reasonable time and spent sometime catching up on news. I really like how reader tells me how addicted I am to it with a nice chart. Recently they even updated the chart to show how many times are posted per day so I can see how on top of the news I am, I am normally pretty good about keeping up to date, but not this week, now I am uptdate. On to hulu to empty my queue there.

I only took two pictures, because I was busy in that second seat in clipping 100s of chips of peoples shoes. It was a cold day but I enjoyed my self.

I recently noticed that
Beverly Hills Chihuahua was the top grossing movie for two weekends in a row and I wanted to compare this to previous weekends to make sure that this wasn’t going to be the biggest movie of the year. My normal source of this information is from
bbc news but I couldn’t find back weeks very easily so I ended up looking at data from
The Numbers. I used the
Beautiful Soup parser for python and grabbed the top 10 weekend movies for the entire year and began taking a look, and it looks like I don’t have to worry to much about Beverly Hills Chihuahua, as
The Dark Knight looks like it has done the best this year.
The red marks are where Beverly Hills Chihuahua was number one.

Another shot from last weekend. Surprisingly the amtrak train came a little early, which was a welcome suprise compaired to the hour+ delay when leaving Penn Station On Friday. Also Penn Station tracks were under construction so the train took me to Grand Central.

Its a crisp fall day on Lake George today. It’s great to be surrounded by trees, leaves and unpaved areas.

The view from the outside of the Kushner residence. Adam Kushner, the architech/builder/everything, actually thought that he recognized me, I just wish I had something better to say when that happened instead of bumbling.
