While walking around the Newtown Creek Treatment Plant yesterday looking for their so-called nature trail Hannah and I passed the Just Packaging Inc factory.

Went to the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant today as part of Open House New York. Many of the events this year were reservation only and by the time I realized that Open House New York was here I had missed out an all the reservations. luckily the Hannah spotted that the Digester Eggs had some first come first served spots so we took a risk and showed up. we painlessly were able to get in and go to the top of the digester eggs.

Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 1

This weekend I went to the recently opened Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the signs say the fanatically green lawns are closed until mid april. I look forward to frolicking in them once they are open.

I woke up this morning to falling snow and was soon visited by this red cardinal.

John Hodgman refered to me as Bearded Man while he was M.C.ing a book reading by David Javerbaum. Clearly this was in error and he took the time to apologize on on his books title page.
