Went to the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant today as part of Open House New York. Many of the events this year were reservation only and by the time I realized that Open House New York was here I had missed out an all the reservations. luckily the Hannah spotted that the Digester Eggs had some first come first served spots so we took a risk and showed up. we painlessly were able to get in and go to the top of the digester eggs.

Brooklyn Bridge Park – Pier 1

This weekend I went to the recently opened Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the signs say the fanatically green lawns are closed until mid april. I look forward to frolicking in them once they are open.

John Hodgman Apologizes

John Hodgman refered to me as Bearded Man while he was M.C.ing a book reading by David Javerbaum.  Clearly this was in error and he took the time to apologize on on his books title page.
